This series contains details of traveling to various regions in Gyeongbuk, meeting producers, head matriarchs, young entrepreneurs, and chefs to discuss the region's ingredients and cuisine, and hosting dining events. Season 1: Gyeongsangbuk-do In April 1999, the late Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom visited Hahoe Village. Using the birthday meal served to the Queen at the time as a theme, we explore the flavors of Gyeongbuk and the stories contained within them with food explorer Jang Min-young and chef Kim Tae-yoon. Season 2: Ulleungdo Tae-woon, a former Michelin restaurant owner-chef, and Min-young, CEO of the sustainable gastronomic research institute Our Planet, explore the diverse food resources of Ulleungdo. The two embark on a journey to discover the flavors of Ulleungdo, the Korean Peninsula's largest treasure trove of food ingredients.
